Verified ReviewerI felt like this was a scam
I reached out for service for my lock not catching. The guy came out, removed my lock plate, and then my electronic lock stopped working.
He then said that it had nothing to do with what he did. He said he had a lock that would be $275. He charged me $50 as a house call fee. Please beware.
I saw veterans and didn't check reviews. This was no veteran!

Verified Reviewer |Horrible Service
The technician from Locksmith Veterans was so rough that he left a huge gash in my wall while repairing my glass door lock!!! He quoted me a price then charged me more money.
I just wanted him to leave so I paid him. I will NEVER use this company again!
I feel ripped off! If anything he should have lowered the price for the damage he left.
User's recommendation: Do not go with Locksmith Veterans!!

I called this number because they said they serviced my area. They wouldnt give me an estimate over the phone, Im stuck outside in the cold, they send people to come to the house that arent wearing uniforms and they are not in a company truck and they dont give me an estimate till theyre done and then they tell me its $300 And Im stuck having to pay for it. Then when you call back to the company, they tell you they dont even service Virginia when its clearly the phone number that I just used to speak to them to have someone dispatched to my house.

Verified ReviewerBad Experience
They wouldn't give an exact quote over the phone but said it would be cheaper than other quotes I had received. Appointment time came and went with no show and no call.
Finally get someone in the phone and guy said he had car trouble but would come out first thing tomorrow.
Appointment time comes and goes again I call the guy who says he is on his way. Finally shows up and charges me $195 an hour (moved slower than molasses) for his service plus $65 for the lock, and $19 for his travelling to me
- Poor communication
- High price

Verified ReviewerOvercharged, didn't know what they were doing, and didn't finish the job!
I live in Woodbridge, VA. I contacted the company to replace a damaged front door lock and they sent a "technician" out to the house.
The first sign which should have clued me in that I was in for a horrible experience was that the "technician" - Eddie - asked me if I had a drill. Why didn't he have his own tools? I didn't have a drill so Eddie eventually left and came back 40 minutes later with a drill. When he came back he proceeded to work on the door for another FOUR hours!
While he was here I looked up how long the job should have taken and Google said an hour and half max if it's a custom door, which it isn't. I watched the "technician" for a bit and watched him use his drill incorrectly (putting the bit in crooked and hitting reverse when it should have drilled forward). At one point I called the company again and told them their guy didn't know what he was doing. They were dismissive and hung up.
I suspect the the contractor that works in this area is a family business and they were looking after their own. After five hours of this I lost my patience and told Eddie to leave even though the deadbolt was still visibly missing from the door. For my own safety I forked over $375 to make him go away and so there wouldn't be an argument. Today I called Moe the Locksmith in Woodbridge, VA.
They sent a technician out to the house.
I paid nearly the same amount and their technician who was an actual technician named Sammy replaced the lock in under 15 minutes. Locksmith Veterans is a horrible company and I feel obligated to spread the word that they are to be avoided at all costs.

Verified ReviewerOvercharged by $1000
Had a guy come out and make 2 keys for a 2006 Pontiac G6, charged me over $1600. Actual robbery. When I tried to call back the company that serviced us, they hung up on me, and when I tried to call back the toll free number they said they had no affiliation with any website and did not complete any service the day of my issue.

Verified ReviewerWe were overcharged and feel robbed
Today, we had a lock changed in Los Angeles by 24/7 Locksmith Services, 'Locksmith Veterans.' He said he would give us a cheap price. The service call was supposed to be $19.
This is the total bill: new special lock: $712, installation: $529, service call: $199, 12 keys for our non-profit group: $469. Total bill: $1908. We feel scammed and robbed. What can we do?
These people should not be in business. Unfortunately, we did not check Google first for their reputation.

Verified Reviewer |We were so overcharged and feel robbed -
Today we had an old lock changed in Los Angeles. The man stated he would give us a cheap price.
When done: new "special" lock $712, installation 529, service call 199 (was supposed to be $19) 12 keys for our non-profit organization $468. What recourse do we have?
We should have googled the customer complaint page and didn't. We are so unhappy and feel we were "robbed." The total was $1908 and we wrote a check to the company.
We kept our receipt private due to names and phone numbers provided on the receipt provided by 24/7 Locksmith Services.
User's recommendation: Check references before using anyone! Google the company first.

I was told to reprogram and will do it for $150. My system said it's NATS locked.
They said they need 45 minutes to reset and will be back and need a $40 deposit. After 2.5 hours, a new guy showed up from the locksmith vets and said it will be at least $200. Then, he said let me try and charged me another $50, and said it will cost me $300 if I do it now.
I'm on disability and then, they said it will be $500 for a new BCM board. Then he left.
- Second guy came 2 hours late
- Then said he will try and just took off my glove box
- First said i had to lose the first 40 and pay at least 200

Verified ReviewerStole money from us
This place is a joke. They tell you it's only $19 to come out and the price to actually unlock the car is $35.
I was told if it was going to cost more, they would let us know before they start the work. The guy did the job and then billed us $316 without letting us know. All they do is give you the run around and don't actually help you or explain why it was so expensive.
I will be getting my money back. Don't use these people.

Verified Reviewer |Resolved: Awful work
i asked for a bid, man, said he would look at the problem, then give me an estimate. which never happened.
The front door lock was repaired for a friend of mine, who lives 300 miles away, so this was done over the phone, he was on the line when entering the house, the phone hung up on me, when he called me back, after completing the job and told me the price would be $364.00, I told him to get real about the price and I would pay him. My Friend is a 92-old- lady, the locksmith wanted my c/c number, mind you no invoice. I told him I needed to see an Invoice, so I know what i am paying for.I give him my E-Mail address, He claims to have sent me the Invoice twice. I have never seen it Yet.so he texted it to me several times, in all cases it was not readable.
I have not paid, nor do I intend to. His work was so bad her neighbor agreed to take care of the problem..

Verified ReviewerThe pricing is ridiculous. Quotes $35 on website. I had 7 doors. Guys comes says it’s $75 so I had no choice. At the end the charge was $150 per door because technician claimed it was $75 per lock
So now I am stuck with a $1,100 bill. They are not a real company.
They hire these guys independently I bet. I am so disgusted I got royally screwed.
